Thanks to its unique historical core, parks, cultural tradition, recreational facilities, pleasant climate and environment, the city of Olomouc is a most attractive place to live. In 2023, the construction of 1 479 apartments began in the Olomouc Region, out of which 441 were implemented in the Olomouc District. The intense housing development, sale prices of flats and market prices of real estate show that the city has retained its position of a major urban centre in the Czech Republic.
